His career highlights include competing at Wembley Stadium, where he both scored the winning penalty in a cup final and experienced the highs and lows of elite football.

At the academy, Oli plays a key role both on and off the pitch. As a lead coach and designated safeguarding officer, he ensures every session is safe, structured, and tailored to each individual player's development.

Still actively involved in the professional game and working towards his UEFA B Licence, Oli combines current playing experience with modern coaching methods. Inspired by his son's passion for football, he is driven to create an environment where young players can enjoy the game while reaching their full potential.

With experience at clubs including Bristol Rovers, Gillingham, and multiple loan spells across the EFL, he understands the demands and realities of modern football at every level.

His journey from academy prospect to first-team professional gives him a unique perspective on player development, discipline, and what it truly takes to make it in the game.

At the academy, Max combines his playing experience with a hands-on coaching approach, working closely with players to develop their technical ability, game understanding, and confidence. As both co-owner and coach, he is deeply invested in creating an environment where young players receive the kind of structured, professional coaching he believes every player deserves.

With a foundation in coaching qualifications and years spent inside elite systems, Max is passionate about giving back to the game and helping the next generation navigate their own football journeys.
