At 5 Twelve Elite Football, we are committed to providing a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for every child who attends our sessions.
Our Approach
Safeguarding is not an afterthought. It is built into everything we do. Every member of our coaching team holds a current DBS check and has completed appropriate safeguarding training. Our designated safeguarding officer is available at every session.
Designated Safeguarding Officer
Our Designated Safeguarding Officer is Oli (Co-Founder and Head Coach). Oli is responsible for safeguarding procedures at all 5 Twelve sessions and can be contacted directly with any concerns.
Coach Qualifications
- All coaches hold current FA Coaching Licences
- All coaches hold current Enhanced DBS certificates
- All coaches have completed FA Safeguarding Children training
- First Aid trained staff present at every session
Session Procedures
- Children are registered at the start of every session
- Children are not released to anyone other than the registered parent/guardian without prior written consent
- Any medical or health information provided during registration is held securely and communicated to coaches
- Any concerns observed during sessions are logged and reported via the appropriate FA/local authority channels
